Michael Wilson is in his second year as the Golf Performance
Coordinator at Middle Tennessee State University. In his first year, he helped
train the Blue Raiders on their way to the NCAA Regional Championships. Michael
is certified as a Level 2 Titleist Performance Institute Certified Golf Fitness
Instructor. His training through TPI focused primarily on identifying and
correcting any physical limitations contributing to the 12 major swing flaws.
Strength and Power deficits can then be addressed to add an extra element to the
game while reducing the risk of injury. A Nashville, Tennessee native, Michael
was a three sport athlete at Father Ryan High School and attended the College of
Charleston. He received his Masters of Science in Kinesiology from Georgia
Southern University while working as a Graduate Assistant. Michael is also
certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association(NSCA-CSCS),
Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association(CSCCA-SCCC), and the
United States Association of Weightlifting(USAW-SPC).   |
